To strengthen our Manufacturing Team at STA Technologies, we are looking for a
Production Technician
ROLE
Assist in development, scale-up and production of powders and other Security based products. Conduct operational assignments and procedures for powder and tag production. Work under general supervision and guidance. Some shift work required.
- Operating, maintaining, cleaning and troubleshooting of proprietary production equipment.
- Recipe formulation, powder production and thermal post processing for a variety of powders materials/products.
- Wet chemistry-based synthesis of unique taggant materials.
- Consistent quality for long run material campaigns.
- Flexibility to shift between high volume manufacturing mind-set and one-off research & development (R&D) sample generation.
- Equipment maintenance and high operating efficiency while ensuring highest quality, safety, and security standards are observed.
- Assist in planning, synthesis, processing, and testing of products.

- Assoc. degree in a technical discipline preferred; or High School graduate with 2-4 years’ work experience.
- Strong motivation to learn and expand expertise.
- Ability to obtain Secret level clearance preferred.
