To lead our dynamic teams and drive the success of our projects, we are currently looking for a:

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER

ROLE:

•Lead and manage the software development team, setting clear goals and expectations, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

•Develop and implement strategic plans for the software development center in alignment with the company’s objectives.

•Oversee the delivery of software development projects in an agile environment, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

•Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and resources.

•Provide costed technical proposals to requests.

•Monitor and report on project progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and other stakeholders.

•Ensure the application of best practices in software design, coding, and testing to follow our development and quality standards.

•Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including staffing and budgeting.

•Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their professional growth.

•Build a network of local partners to increase capacity and/or provide specific skills when needed

PROFILE:

•Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

•Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects and/or teams.

•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.

•Experience with budget management and resource allocation.

•Experience in working in an international matrix organization environment.

•High sense of accountability and commitment.

•Quality and test-driven development mindset.

•Agile & Scrum knowledge.
