To strengthen our Meyercord team, we are looking for a




                                                                           CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT






You will be responsible for supporting Customer Service at Meyercord in Carol Stream, IL.  You will be responsible for the following tasks: 



  • Assist in providing customer support via fax, phone and email
  • Responds to requests in a timely manner
  • Effectively communicates timelines, pricing, and shipping information to customer  
  • Enter sales and factory work orders
  • Creates Sales order is Green Tree
  • Creates customer production orders and production test jobs as requested by press
  • Enters customer complaints via Service Now tool
  • Manages all documentation/photos in Service Now tool
  • Communicates with Sales and Management regarding complaints
  • Prepares shipping documents as needed
  • Communicates all shipments with warehouse staff
  • Manages shipping schedule in coordination with freight carries
  • Prepares ground shipments for smaller orders
  • Close jobs at end of the production cycle
  • Reviews all closed jobs to ensure accuracy in all internal applications
  • Resolves discrepancies within the jobs with production staff 
  • Update job information in assorted internal applications
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM database
  • Maintain hard copies of all types of customer files
  • Provide overall support and assistance to office team and Plant Manager
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
  • Provide help and support to DtD and finishing floor production as needed








  • Minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent, Associate degree in business a plus. 
  • Must have 3-5 years customer service and office experience.
  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel required.
