To support our Manufacturing Operations in Chavornay, we are looking for a:

 

PRODUCTION AND SUPPLY PLANNING MANAGER

 

ROLE

 

Reporting to the Supply Chain & Procurement Director, the Production and Supply Planning Manager will be primarily responsible for the production planning and supplying of raw materials, equipment and services in line with company requirements including:

  • Develop and execute the supply planning and production planning strategies that meet SICPA’s business needs and create a sustainable competitive advantage
  • Ensure production planning is accurate and optimized between commercial demand and production operational capacity
  • Manage the supply function coordinating internally/externally requirements from forecasts to production operations
  • Ensure provision of products and services in the quantity/quality that meets SICPA specifications considering total cost of ownership
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness, maintain accurate records
  • Maintain reliable production schedule, continuously adjusted, and propose alternatives in case of capacity issues
  • Manage a team of purchasing specialists and production planning specialists
  • Lead improvement / digitalisation projects related to supply and planning processes and flows
  • Provide guidance and ensure supply and planning process and governance for SICPA Manufacturing Operations at a global level

 

PROFILE

 

  • University degree in a supply chain related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in relevant positions in Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Planning etc. with at least 3 years of people management experience, ideally in an industrial and international environment
  • Good knowledge of demand management and production planning processes, MRP/MPS/DDMRP
  • Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office suite, data and analytics tools: Power BI an asset
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English and French, German an asset
