Service Centre Engineer



We are currently seeking an experienced Service Centre Engineer who practices strong incident resolution and troubleshooting practices in order to deliver insights from a highly available system that runs 24 x 7 in real time. We count on our Service Center Engineers to empower high availability and stellar performance level to pursue their missions.





  • Run the environments 24 x 7 by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health;
  • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications;
  • Build software (tools) and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications;
  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning;
  • Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures;
  • Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve;
  • Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts;
  • Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions;
  • Lead and assist in implementing best practices in the team and collaborations with other teams;
  • Help to train and coach new members of team.





  • College degree or technical training in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of training, and/or experience;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Dockers & OpenShift and previous experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer;
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and VM; 
  • Ability to program with one or more high level languages (at least in Python);
  • Knowledge of Cloud automation tools; 
  • Knowledge and experience in Nagios and Splunk (asset); 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated abilities to diagnose and analyze software issues; 
  • Experienced with quality and performance monitoring processes;
  • Strong analytical skills; very organized in thought and methodology;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills;
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a sense of diplomacy;
  • Availability to work in different shifts (e.g. day shift or night shift) assigned on a rotational basis;
  • Fluent in English.
