To strengthen our Fort Worth, Texas team, we are looking for an

 

 

OPERATIONS MANAGER

 

 

ROLE

 

 

Plan, organize and direct the Ink Production, Security and Production Control departments in a safe and cost-effective manner.

 

 

PROFILE

 

 

  • Supervise the development and execution of the production schedules.
  • Monitor the production department’s adherence to established control limits and specifications of processes.
  • Plan and schedules production to optimize use of raw materials, machine time, resources, and transportation to meet delivery requirements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and material availability.
  • Organizes, directs and assigns work to the local departments that fall under direct reporting while coordinating and interfacing with adjacent departments.
  • Keeping Waste Variance low with a focus on Quality Product.
  • Supervise personnel in all listed departments.
  • Interface with Technical/Quality to review and analyze process results.
  • Execution of approved budgeting.
  • Monitors all outside contracts to assure quality work and smooth transitions.
  • Responsible for enforcing plant security programs and systems.
  • Responsible for management of building facility and all related building functions.
  • Responsible for the implementation of approved corporate policies, practices and
  • procedures.  Responsible for selection, training and development of supervised employees. Evaluates performance and recommends appropriate promotions, transfers, salary increases and disciplinary actions.
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive manufacturing experience in a process manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ink making knowledge a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Tools
  • Proficient with ERP/SAP systems
  • BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent experience; business   management concentration or operations preferred
