To strengthen our team in Sierra Leone, we are looking for a:

Laboratory and QC Supervisor

 

 

Introduction:

Administrative function, laboratory testing, QA/QC control, reporting the test results at a supervisory level.

 

 

Main Responsibilities: Laboratory Administrative

•    Able to perform all duties of a Lab technician.
•    Able to keenly supervise all duties performed by a Lab technician and compute a report if need be.
•    Overall management and supervision of all supervised staff members
•    Assist in the recruitment of new staff their department where needed.
•    Manage the training off all new recruited marking staff that they will supervise
•    Manage all laboratory related equipment under their supervision, keeping their proper record and inventory.
•    Plan, budget and request all relevant materials needed for the Laboratory

 

 

General / Other Activities

• Ensure that all SICPA policies, including those concerning Health, Safety Environmental protection and confidentiality are respected and adhered to.
•    Contribute to the development and maintenance of general policies, processes, and procedures for SICPA Sierra Leone.

 

 

Your profile

  • Degree or Higher National Diploma in a higher learning educational institution
    •    Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
    •    Experience within chemistry and laboratory industry is a plus
    •    Mathematical and excel knowledge
    •    Fluent in written and spoken English
