To strengthen our team in Sierra Leone, we are looking for a:

 

REPAIR CENTER TECHNICIAN

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

 

Diagnose, analyse and resolve technical issues faced by our Customer Service and Operation.
Perform preventive, corrective maintenance and repair of SICPA company equipment's.

 

ROLE:

 

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on company’s products.
Perform product calibration and deliver product conformity document when needed.
Consulted on strategy for global repair centers and responsible to implement it.
Ensure the different repair centers are aligned (processes, tools, reporting, training, release notes).
Use ERP system (SAP) to drive RMA process from start to finish for all defective equipment received from the field.
Perform incoming inspection and tests of all defective equipment received from the different projects and SICPA solutions.
Contact suppliers to coordinating the repair or replacement defective equipment.
Perform Pareto analysis on faulty equipment (data collection from the different projects and repair centers).
Coordinated with all repair centers to implement any retrofit or rework of non-conform SICPA products and equipment in the field.
Maintain a database all repairs and work performed.
Maintain trouble shooting and maintenance reports.
Maintain Tests, Assembly and Rework Instructions.
Check and evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
Contribute in process improvement and internal project.
Implement 8D analysis and report to resolve critical issues in the field.
 
 

PROFILE:

 

Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Alternatively, Technician with extensive and relevant experience.
Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.
Knowledge in standard practices, materials, tools, equipment and test equipment used in electrical electronically and mechanical instrumentation.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written), other languages are a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Industrial Ink Jet printer is a plus.
Experience with Vision system knowledge is a plus.
Experience in a  laboratory environment is a plus.
