•    For each assigned project, create, edit and maintain relevant documentation for both hardware and software solutions for all require audiences (users, operators, administrators, technicians, etc.). Documentation in-scope includes user guides, quick reference guides, installation guides, service manuals, maintenance/troubleshooting guides, stamp application guidelines, and on-line help. 
•    For each assigned project, as requested, create training content & materials and deliver training sessions on both hardware and software solutions to relevant audiences (users, operators, administrators, technicians, etc.) as per project needs. Upon request, develop and implement training materials in e-learning format to make them available to a wider audience on an ongoing basis.


•    Collaborate with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements. 
•    Understand complex technical data, processes flows and operations typically in a production environment. 
•    Proactively research and collect information, pictures and other supporting information for the creation of manuals. 
•    Produce concise high-quality easy-to-understand manuals that is appropriate for its intended audience and that contributes to the overall success of our products. 
•    Write technical documents in compliance with the company’s established standards and guidelines. 
•    Create a variety of different manual types (user manuals, operator manuals, maintenance manuals, troubleshooting manuals, installation manuals and other technical documents). 
•    Write manuals for different targeted audiences (operators, technicians, administrators, auditors and government users). 
•    Deliver manuals in accordance with project timeframes and project owners’ expectations. 
•    Proofread and edit manuals for quality, spelling, grammar & layout. 
•    Create manuals for Mobile applications, Audit devices and other Company Equipment (small, medium, large depending on the deployment). 
•    Compile and organize Online help files for end-users. 
•    Manage the review, revision and modification of manuals collaboratively with internal teams. 
•    Prepare annotated graphics in relation to software tools and hardware equipment.
•    Attend technical site visit/meetings, client meetings and document, review and circulate results. 
•    Assess training effectiveness through cold and hot evaluation
•    Organize and manage translation when needed 

Knowledge in one or more of the following fields a plus:

•    Excellent written skills in English compulsory & spoken 2nd language. French an advantage.
•    Computer skills: Familiar with PCs, and a range of IT subjects, incl. Graphics, Content Management, Help,  Multimedia, etc.
•    Software: MS Office (advanced), FrameMaker, Photoshop, Visio Pro, RoboHelp, Acrobat, SharePoint,  etc., vuseful. 
•    Multimedia skills an advantage (e.g., Captivate/Flash).


•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in daily Technical Writing
•    Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation and hardware documentation. 
•    Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail. 
•    Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics. 
•    Advantageous but not compulsory if written skills in other languages. 
•    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office WORD compulsory. 
•    Advantageous if skilled in Photoshop, Captivate or similar, RoboHelp or similar, OneNote, MS Teams, MS Visio. 
•    Technical communications certificate or equivalent.
•    Trained trainer preferred.
•    Ability to present before different audiences
