(Senior) Chemist

To strengthen our Research & Innovation department, we are looking for a:

Chemist

     
ROLE :
     

• Manage and drive research and development projects in the domain of security ink formulation involving internal or external customers from the early stage until industrial implementation.
• Design, plan and execute laboratory scale projects in collaboration with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide support for scale-up and technology transfer to operational units for pilot and production scale.
• Maintain technology awareness and identify opportunities for innovation through activities such as literature research and scientific networking.
• Support activities required to maintain a strong IP portfolio.

PROFILE:

• Sound technical background with hands-on experience in synthetic (organic/inorganic) and/or polymer chemistry at the level of PhD with additional research experience.
• Ideally experience with printing processes, ink formulation.
• A proven record of contribution to scientific/technical innovation with a demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement technical solutions combining materials and processes.
• Management of small- and medium-scale technical projects is a plus.
• Autonomous, polyvalent, curious and organized. You are a motivated and result-oriented team player.
• You are able to handle complex problems, and work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
• You are fluent in English and at least operational in French (B2).
