Embedded Software Engineer

To strengthen our  R&D Features and Detection department, we are looking for a:

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

ROLE

• Join a multidisciplinary team (electronics, software, optics, chemist, scientist) in the R&D Features & Detection department 
• Develop embedded software on RTOS and Linux platforms
•  Architect, design,  test support and troubleshoot  embedded software for high-speed sensors
• Translate mathematically proven algorithms into efficient C/C++ code
• Implement software on both real-time operating system and embedded Linux

PROFILE

•  Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience in embedded operating system and software development for scientific or industrial applications
• 5 years of experience in C/C++ programming is required
• Ability to perform system requirement analysis, architecture design and subsystem requirements definition
• Experience in System on Chip systems including microprocessor, microcontroller and DSP
• Experience in software testing and versioning 
• Experience in MATLAB script, Texas Instrument code composer, ARM based platform  are a plus
• Ability to interface with customer and partners, and deliver oral presentations in international environment
• Good problem solver and innovative spirit, bringing ideas from conception to implementation in industrial environment
• Autonomous, curious, trustworthy and result-oriented
• Team player in a multi-cultural working environment with ability to work independently
• Availability to travel internationally
• English is a must and French is a plus
