IT Application Business Analyst CRM (Salesforce)

Within the Global Information Services department (GIS), the IT Application Business Analyst Sales and Marketing will help improve SICPA business productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and flexibility by providing professional services of implementation, deployment, and maintenance of all IT Sales and Marketing business applications for SICPA users. In this role, you will drive requirements analysis, configuration, testing, problem and incident analysis and resolution. The position will require business engagement with Sales and Marketing Business stakeholders to manage requests with the ability to guide them to a uniform solution and/or process.



In a nutshell, the IT Application Business Analyst will hold end-to-end functional responsibilities related to the analysis, design, built, test and deployment of enterprise level solutions. This includes the assessment of viable solution options, providing industry standard methodologies, formulating and presenting solution options to different levels of management and influencing and directing decisions that result in optimal customer success.

The IT Application Business Analyst Sales and Marketing will participate in/lead the improvement of key IT applications optimizing our Business`s Sales and Marketing Capabilities, including the following responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic discussions with our Business stakeholders, including identifying value proposition, designing and delivering scalable solutions with a key focus on enhancing our, Sales and Marketing Cloud capabilities along with other IS applications in the Sales and Marketing domain. 
  • Act as a solution advocate and trusted advisor for our Business stakeholders and our internal IS organization, advising on best practices, building a vision for a multi-channel roadmap, helping conceptualize and design Marketing Automated Solutions while ensuring alignment of identified solutions with the enterprise architecture. 
  • Work closely with Project managers and be involved across multiple projects, enhancements, operations and in managing our external technology partners. 
  • Perform applications configuration, perform unit testing to ensure functional requirements coverage is in line with Business needs and expectations. 
  • Coordinate and provide support through IT servicing tools by following CMMI guidelines and ensure consistency with ITIL recommendations.
  • Ensure coordination with Identity and Access Management team for access rights.
  • Be responsible for producing high quality solution documentation, ensuring that all documentation remains consistent and up to date. 
  • Organize and provide training to key-users on Sales and Marketing Cloud and other Sales and Marketing applications to improve business knowledge of application solutions.
  • Support your IT colleagues on various overlapping topics and act as a backup for the IT Sales Business Analyst on various sales related applications.
  • Work closely with the Business Relationship Manager to push innovation, future vision and deliver value to business. 



  • Preferably a Master’s degree in a Technology related field of study or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in planning and managing IT systems in the Sales & Marketing Business Domain
  • At least 5 years of strong Customer Journey implementation experience in`s Sales and Marketing Cloud platform along with configuration and data migration experience. Proven experience in designing, implementing and optimizing Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders, most importantly Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder and Automation Studio, and ideally also Cloud Pages and Mobile Studio
  • Good understanding of how to build a custom preference center
  • Experience in reporting and analyzing email activity using Email Studio reports and Journey Builder. Proficiency with Data Views and Discover Reports within Analytics Builder, Einstein Engagement etc. is a nice to have
  • Strong communication skills, able to understand problems and present the best IT solutions to our Marketing business stakeholders
  • Independent, and hands-on working style, team player, highly self-motivated, proactive and change oriented to manage dynamic Business scenarios
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and leadership 
  • Experience in managing third party service delivery
  • Ability to collaborate with global marketing teams across multiple countries 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • ITIL certification is an asset
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, French is a plus
