To strengthen our Research & Development department, we are looking for a : 

 

 

R&D INKJET CHEMIST


ROLE: 

  • Manage R&D projects related to digital printing.
  • Develop and qualify inkjet inks from formulation to print trials.
  • Create and validate concepts through hands on experiments in the laboratory, generate demonstrators and specimens.
  • Propose viable technical solutions related to ink formulation with the help of test beds and digital printing lab demonstrators.
  • Contribute to innovation by collaborating with engineers, chemists, and scientists (generation of ideas, proof of concept and IP).
  • Interact with internal and external customers (testing and delivery).
  • Participate in the industrialization of technical solutions with Manufacturing and Operations and provide troubleshooting.
  • Be responsible and maintain lab equipment, propose improvements and investments.
  • Stay up to date with new digital printing technologies, provide active technology watch.
  • Document test results, procedure, and projects.

 

 

PROFILE:

 

  • University Master degree in chemistry, materials science, polymer science or similar with a solid experience in formulation of inks, coatings, paints. 
  • Previous experience in UV chemistry and digital printing is definitively a plus.
  • Established professional network in the field of printing (raw materials, technology suppliers, integrators, OEMs) will be strongly appreciated.
  • Willing to provide experimental effort toward a technical solution (formulation and print testing) and to push towards productization.
  • Experience in project management and interaction with partners (internal & external), suppliers and customers.
  • Autonomy, pragmatism, ability to convince, resilient and able to deal with job complexity and people.
  • Good verbal, written and communicational skills.
  • Languages: written and conversational English is a must (C1 level), French is a plus.
