HR Coordinator
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of Human Resources processes, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and HR procedures. The role provides operational support across employee administration, recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, training, and HR reporting, while serving as a point of contact for employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance with Ecuadorian labor legislation and internal HR policies.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and employee administration processes.
- Prepare payroll inputs, benefit information, attendance records, and employee data for payroll processing.
- Support recruitment activities, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics.
- Coordinate training activities, employee engagement initiatives, and performance management processes.
- Assist with employee relations matters and provide first-level support to managers and employees on HR procedures.
- Monitor and update HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, training participation, and labor costs.
- Maintain HR data and support the administration of HR systems and employee databases.
- Assist with audits, labor inspections, and compliance-related activities.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in HR Administration, HR Operations, Recruitment, Payroll Support, or HR Coordinator positions.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, chemical, oil and gas, or operational environments is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Ecuadorian Labor Law and personnel administration processes.
- Experience with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms is desirable.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
- English B1 preferred.
