Supply Chain Manager

Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations in Ecuador, ensuring the efficient, compliant, and secure flow of equipment, spare parts, consumables, and hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics operations, including imports, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and hazardous materials regulations.
  • Manage logistics providers and optimize transportation and delivery processes.
  • Develop demand forecasts and coordinate procurement activities with headquarters.
  • Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, and vendor performance.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock optimization, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and working capital performance.
  • Prepare reports on supply chain performance, inventory status, forecasts, and operational risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, corporate policies, and internal controls.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Inventory Management.
  • Proven experience in import/export operations, forecasting, inventory control, and supplier management.
  • Experience in industrial, energy, fuel, manufacturing, or operational environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience in multinational companies is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, forecasting, inventory management, and customs processes.
  • ERP experience required; SAP is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
