To strengthen our Government Contracts Team, we are looking for a
Contracts Specialist
ROLE
You will be responsible for managing the organization's contractual obligations and ensuring that all contracts are executed efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Contracts Specialist must have strong knowledge of federal government contract vehicles to include IDIQ, BPAs, and R&D.

Contract Development:
• Reviews complex solicitations and prepares specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids and contract modifications. Analyzes significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure.
• Provides contractual guidance to business team members for appropriate Statement of Work, contract deliverables, and contractual terms and conditions.

Contract Administration:
• Maintain a contract management electronic files to store and track contract data, including key milestones, modifications, amendments, renewals, and expirations.
• Monitor contract performance, and work with stakeholders to address any issues or changes as needed.
• Manage change orders, amendments, and extensions to existing contracts.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
• Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Perform risk assessments and suggest improvements to enhance contract management practices.
Compliance Monitoring:
• Ensure that all contracts comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct periodic audits to confirm that contracts are being executed according to their terms.

Contract Reporting:
• Generate and present reports on contract performance, compliance, and other related metrics to management and stakeholders.
Meetings and Support:
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract matters.
• Conduct meetings to help teams understand contract requirements and best practices.

PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field or
- Three or more years of experience in contract management
- Knowledge of contract law, FAR regulations, UCC and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
