Proposal Specialist
ROLE
The SICPA Proposal Specialist will be a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who actively contributes to a wide range of proposal- and marketing-related activities. They are responsible for managing our proposal deliverables and assisting with various sales & marketing projects. Solid organizational and communication skills are a must. You will be responsible for supporting Sales & Marketing at Albuquerque but also other SICPA locations.
As the Proposal Specialist, you will oversee aspects of the proposal design and development process within the US market for SICPA and its subsidiaries. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and will work collaboratively with the sales, business development, technical and marketing teams. Working hand-in-hand with business development and marketing, the Proposal Specialist will help to strategically position SICPA to win qualifications-based opportunities. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Teams, Word and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline, as well as 3-5 years of experience.

- Proposal Management: Lead the proposal development effort, which may include creating shells/outlines, researching customers, formatting, editing, compliance check, proposal submission.
- Capture Process Assistance: Assist in aspects of the sales capture process, from opportunity identification through proposal delivery.
- Opportunity Research: Research, identify, and track business leads and federal opportunities using web-based platforms.

- Content Management and Design: Manage, update and create proposal boilerplate content and graphics, as well as tracking the collection of forms, information, and data required.
- Data Management: Gather and analyze data, pull external reports, and conduct research to support business development efforts.
- Event Participation: Attend industry days, conferences, and meet/greets to gather leads, promote the company, and report back to company stakeholders.
- Other Activities:
- Collaborating with the Marketing Manager, and/or outsourced (contracted) visual communication specialists to develop informational graphics to support proposal and interview content.
- Submitting public records requests and acquiring debrief materials (scoring and ranking data and competitor’s Statements of Qualifications and interview slides) to share with the team and analyze how to improve our efforts in the future.
- Managing company vendor accounts with federal, state and municipal sites, and monitoring letting schedule for critical RFPs/Bids.
