To strengthen our Contracts team, we are looking for a

 

 

 

                                                                                CONTRACTS MANAGER

 

 

 

ROLE

 

 

 

The Contracts Manager is a key member of the team with responsibility for managing contract activities across business groups within SICPA North America, ensuring the organization’s compliance with contracting policies and procedures and corporate guidelines. Directs activities involved in the administration of contracts, teaming agreements, subcontracts, purchase/delivery orders and task orders in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), company policy and procedure, and appropriate standard business practices. Manages the daily activity of a Sr. Contracts Specialist in routine contract administration tasks in accordance with corporate policy.

 

You will be responsible for the following tasks: 

 

 

Contracts

 

 

  • Provides guidance on contractual matters and implications of negotiated terms and conditions to Senior management.
  • Analyzes new laws, regulation and contract trends for potential impact on the business. Provides guidance for ensuring that the company conducts its business in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
  • Directs identification, development and implementation of entire range of contract formation and administration policies and processes in accordance with customer expectations and corporate objectives.
  • Supports business development in reviewing solicitations and assists in preparing specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.  Coordinates with outside counsel, as necessary, on contract terms
  • Primary contact for all communication with government customers (Contracting Office and Supply Chain), and subcontractors.  Lead discussions on contract matters and concerns.
  • Drafts and negotiates terms and conditions for business development consulting agreements, NDA’s, subcontracts, CTA’s and other customer agreements.  Coordinates with parent company and outside legal counsel as necessary.
  • Assist in reviewing major vendor contracts and provide feedback on terms and conditions
  • Assist in the development of creating winning strategies for proposals in response to RFP and task order solicitations.
  • Manages CPARs and SAM registrations and coordinates corporate registrations with CSC Corporation for annual filings.

 

 

 

Customer Service

 

 

  • Ensure customer delivery orders are reviewed for accuracy, managed and communicated to SICPA operations team in a timely manner.  Insures all invoicing is inputted into IPP accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Communicates with customer on upcoming order forecasts.  Coordinates with SICPA Finance and operations on expected demand.

  • Manages SICPA compliance program insuring policies are aligned with SICPA SA requirements and followed locally
  • Serves as US compliance representative on SICPA global compliance program.

 

 

 

 

PROFILE

 

 

 

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in the management of federal government and State government contracts and procurement
  • Thorough working knowledge of the FAR and UCC
  • Experience conducting solicitation review of RFP, ITB, RFQ and proposal development
  • Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to work across the SICPA and customer organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat.  Intermediate Excel skills preferred
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Minimum of a BS/BA degree in Management or business related major preferred.
