To strengthen our US software development team based in Springfield VA, we are looking for a




                                                                                                                                                DEVOPS ENGINEER







You will be responsible for supporting DEVOPS functions at our Springfield, VA location. You will also be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Provide IT system administration services to development, quality assurance and IT operations teams. 
  • Support and empower the development teams in their day-to-day activities, providing and maintaining automation toolsets, maintain environments and assuring that the system administration skillsets are present in the development team
  • Serve as the link between the development teams and operations, providing the operational feedback to development teams and spearhead the technological development towards operations.
  • Assist in managing operational systems: running applications and database systems including storage, monitoring & backup responsibilities.
  • Deploy and operate solutions and systems using industry standard tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, Nagios, SPLUNK …).
  • Ensure that the required security policies are respected throughout the development lifecycle of our solutions.
  • Maintain the CMDB, SW configurations/versioning of all IT related items, participate in technological obsolescence management
  • Configure and operate the solution monitoring tools
  • Ensure the proper handover of a project from development team to operations
  • Collaborate with SW & IT global teams around the world.
  • Report on system and solution health and escalate issues if needed.
  • Contribute to share, evolve infrastructure standards / best practices within global DevOps community.
  • Coordinate among teams to resolve performance and systems issues in all environments.
  • Research new technology and tools, provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Continue to develop skill set










  • Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated abilities to diagnose and analyze software issues.
  • Hands on experience in cloud and on-premise system implementation
  • Direct experience implementing CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Powershell; ability to write scripts and implement and modify pipeline jobs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) Using methodic approaches to problem solving( e.g. 8D)
  • Familiar with monitoring processes and have performed as primary PoC for off hour support.
  • Continued development on new technology and process trends.

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience and professional certifications
  • At least 5 years of IT engineering experience required. 
  • Background in service provisioning in a production environment such as a data center or customer consulting services.
  • Experience with public or private cloud implementations
  • Knowledge of containers and related technologies, such as orchestration engines.
  • Ability to develop tools / scripts needed for automating infrastructure, development skills, version/configuration control
  • Familiar with microservices architecture concepts.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
  • DevOps mindset, experience with CI/CD concepts and technologies (Ansible, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog, Git, Artifactory).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/OpenStack) and scripting languages for provisioning and automation.
  • Experience with Agile (SCRUM & Kanban) and ITIL is a plus, familiar with Jira and Confluence.
  • DevOps related certifications a plus
  • Structured, process oriented
  • Good verbal/written communication and collaboration skills and a team player
