Technical sales Manager 

POSITION SUMMARY

SICPA is seeking a passionate technologist experienced with digital  technologies (i.e. cybersecurity, blockchain, IOT, AI) who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and who is looking for a challenging opportunity to help government agencies and global enterprises streamline business processes for efficiency, transparency and to fight against fraud with SICPA’s innovative digital integrity and identity solutions. With a focus on government agencies and global enterprises located in the US and Canada, this position will be amember of SICPA's North American sales team and will work closely with SICPA Swiss-based headquarters.

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a technical SME to the development and ongoing optimization of market and sales strategies leveraging SICPA’s digital integrity  and identity solutions
  • Collaborate with business development, sales and marketing colleagues on market awareness programs, lead generation, opportunity qualification and solution proposals
  • Work with customers and prospects to understand objectives, workflow, technical requirements, issues and make recommendations for a path forward
  • Present solutions, P.O.Cs, and options to clients in a team setting
  • Evangelize SICPA solutions and develop relationships in the market through participation in industry organizations and relevant forums; foster and exchange ideas
  • Stay abreast of related technology advancements and market trends; identifying and tracking potential partners and competitors
  • Coach and mentor colleagues on SICPA’s solutions and alternatives in the market
  • Contribute to the messaging, programs and promotion of the solutions
  • Brainstorm and help evaluate applications for new tools and technologies and use cases as they continually evolve

 

COMPETENCIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Passionate technologist with excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively convey how underlying technologies deliver business value
  • Out-of-the-box thinker, strong listener, and problem solver able to cross connect the dots between business goals and technology solutions
  • Team player with a focus on the details to ensure projects move forward efficiently and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Results oriented, with a proven track record for establishing and managing expectations, motivating internal and external stakeholders, meeting deadlines and closing business.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.), MBA or other Master’s degree desirable
  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development or similar role for large scale enterprise solutions
  • Strong technical background with experience in driving effective solution designs in areas such as digital transformation, process automation, cyber security, and/or business analytics
  • Experience working in a global organization and/or with colleagues with diverse cultural backgrounds
