Accountant - Fixed-Term Contract (1 Year)

ROLE
- Monitor invoice collection on a daily basis and identify potential discrepancies to maintain accurate customer account balances.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure vendor documentation accuracy, support negotiations, and ensure timely service delivery and payment reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate posting of all transactions in the accounting system (e.g., SAP)
- Assist the Finance Manager with cash‑flow monitoring and cash optimisation.
- Maintain, record, and reconcile the fixed assets register accurately, ensuring proper safeguarding of company assets.
- Assist in preparing forecasts, financial simulations, and specific analyses and reports in consultation with relevant executive team members.
- Ensure reconciliation and clean‑up of all General Ledger accounts on a daily
- Manage daily activities for Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Treasury, and Cost Accounting.
- Prepare and submit all reports required under local legislation (Albanian Law).
- Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and local/state accounting regulations.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Good knowledge of office software and ERP systems (ideally SAP).
- Communication & Competencies.
