ROLE 

 


The Project Manager – Digital Solutions will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and operationalization of SICPA’s digital and technical solutions in Albania.

The Project Manager will act as the central coordination point between SICPA, banking partners and government authorities. The role is essential to manage complex, multi-party projects, mitigate regulatory and operational risks, and ensure timely and successful go-lives. 

This is a long-term position, supporting the broader digital scale-up strategy and future deployments in Albania and the region.

 

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end deployment of different projects in Albania.
• Act as the single point of contact for all local project stakeholders, including SICPA teams, banks, government authorities, and operators.
• Plan, execute, and monitor project activities to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and in line with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Proactively manage relationships with local government and regulatory bodies to support alignment, approvals, and issue resolution.
• Anticipate, identify, and mitigate regulatory, operational, and integration risks at local level.
• Identify project risks and issues early, propose mitigation plans, and drive timely resolution.
• Monitor performance, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring clarity of ownership and accountability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project governance, processes, and local operating models.
• Support the integration and rollout of future products and digital solutions beyond the initial scope.
• Contribute to the development of additional support lines and project deployments in Albania.
• Provide project management support for other regional initiatives as part of the broader digital scale-up team.

 

 


PROFILE


 
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage external partners and public authorities.
• Experience working on regulated projects or with government/banking entities is a strong advantage.
• Languages: Fluent in Albanian; excellent command of English (C1, spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive in risk management.
• Able to operate independently while collaborating closely with global teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-evolving, international environment.
