Procurement Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our global procurement initiatives across key categories, including energy, utilities, real estate, construction, tech services, corporate services, and indirect supplies. This is a pivotal role in our newly globalized procurement and sourcing function, where you will be responsible for managing and aligning practices across a diverse and international team.
PROCUREMENT MANAGER
ROLE:
- Develop and implement global procurement strategies for key categories, driving efficiencies, cost savings, and innovation across the organization.
- Establish and harmonize procurement practices worldwide, ensuring that all regional teams are aligned with the company’s overall procurement strategy.
- Oversee and manage a global procurement team, with direct reports based in Switzerland and other international locations.
- Identify opportunities to mutualize contracts across regions and categories, optimizing supplier relationships and leveraging global scale for better terms and conditions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across all regions to identify needs, forecast demand, and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.
- Develop the international procurement structure, ensuring it supports the globalization of the function while maintaining regional agility and responsiveness.
- Establish and monitor procurement performance through KPIs, ensuring consistent reporting on cost savings, supplier performance, and operational efficiency across regions.
PROFILE:
- Proven experience in a procurement or category management role with a strong track record of managing teams across multiple locations, particularly in a global or international context.
- Experience in managing categories such as energy, utilities, real estate, construction, tech services, and corporate services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and federate a diverse and international team, aligning them with global strategies while respecting regional nuances.
- Strong command of SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Proficiency in French or German is a plus.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders in a multicultural environment and at various levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change in a complex, global environment.
