System Engineer

To strengthen our Technology Innovation team within our Research & Development department we are looking for a

SYSTEM ENGINEER

ROLE:

•    Design of innovative value chain visibility solutions in particular in support of the health and fuel market segment.
•    Design and of novel authentication sensors, markers, and machine-learning-based algorithms for pharmaceutical and other industrial products.
•    Conception and managing of the prototyping phase of novel product authentication solutions for industrial products.
•    Development of sensors, and machine-learning-based authentication algorithms for novel magnetic banknote features.
•    Coordination of prototyping phases of banknotes authentication devices including optical, magnetic, and mechanical elements.
•    Prepare and ease the transition from the prototype/MVP phase towards product engineering.
•    Support the engineering department in optimizing existing algorithmic authentication solutions
•    Extraction of the business needs in multi-stakeholder projects and synthesis in business-linked use-cases
 

PROFILE:

•    Master's degree in Engineering, or related field. 
•    At least 5 years of experience in industry/industrial consulting.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industry/industrial consulting environment.
•    System modelling tools (UML, SysML, or equivalent)
•    Experience in system model-based design
•    Extended experience in multivariate statistical modelling
•    Extended experience in machine learning and AI algorithms
•    Proficiency in Python, MatLab and/or equivalent prototyping environments
•    Excellent project management skills
•    Experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects including business, and technical elements (interface software, data management, electronics, optics, magnetic, etc.)
•    Experience in both R&D and operations would be a plus
•    Excellent presentation and communication skills.
•    Language English mandatory (advanced),  French is a plus
